Through a Therapeutic Lens is a therapist-facilitated film series for people who love movies, love talking about them afterward, and want to explore the deeper meanings, relationships, and human experiences within them.
For our next screening, we’ll watch Coraline on Monday, December 7 at 6:30 PM in Gowanus, Brooklyn, before moving into a thoughtful community conversation facilitated by Lauren Winick, LCSW, exploring themes of family, longing, loneliness, control, autonomy, and the desire to feel seen and understood.
Tickets are $25 and include the screening, facilitated conversation, snacks, and nonalcoholic drinks. Space is limited to 15 guests, ages 18+.
Verbal participation is optional. Guests are expected to remain for the post-screening conversation and are always welcome to listen.
